I am a woman and I know that it is critically important to get more men involved with teaching the children, especially once they are in junior high or high school. I have read that children typically look to their mother for moral guidance when they are young, and once they are teenagers they are more likely to follow the father's moral example. Children, especially teenagers, need to have good male role models that they can see are living their Christian faith so that they grow up believing that there are "real men" who are living the Christian faith. I have one male friend who taught a high school religious education class this year, and I emphasized to him how important it is for the high school students to see male teachers that can be male role models for them as they learn to live their Christian faith.

We currently have some men in the ministry, but I will look to them to see what keeps them motivated to continue serving there! Thanks!
