Maybe He's preparing you to help these churches make changes. I am the Special Ministry Coordinator at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. We are working hard to help other churches realize the need and not only meet the need, but reach out purposefully to families of children with special needs. If there are churches out there reading this who want to know more about starting a Special Needs Ministry or why it's important to God, please feel free to e-mail me. I've had to stop attending church because I coud not find a Sunday School Program that would work with her. I live in a farily large city in South Florida and there is only one church that offers special needs ministry to children. Sadly, it is quite far from where I live. More churches need to be aware that these children deserve to learn about God just like any other child. Uunformtunately, the spiritual needs of these children are not being met and quite sadly, very few in the Christian community seem to care.

I am involved in a church that I love very much but feel that I am not getting feed The Word at all. I live in Niagara Falls, NY. I attend a new church which just started a year ago. I attended this church because I was told they would have some one specifically to work with my son, Hunter, so we would not have to be pulled from service all the time but this has not happened. I am feeling very frustrated and do not know where to turn.
